Seasoned oak is the most saught after type of firewood. It is also the most expensive. Because it is slow growing, oak is dense and heavy which makes it burn longer and hotter than most hardwoods.
Cherry is lighter, dries fast, burns fast and gives off a pleasant aroma. It also crackles when burned, making it a popular fireplace wood. However, cherry is hard to come by, so supply is limited
Our mixed hardwood consists of ash, maple, hickory, locust and elm. This wood is typically used for campfires, but can also be used for home heating as well. This is our most abundant firewood.
These are the ugly, knotty chunks that don't make the final cut. Typically used for bonfires and outdoor funraces.
